The pregnancy hostel is a place where indigenous tribal women come to stay before and after they give birth. They live many days walk from medical attention. They would either have the choice of giving birth away from medical help in their villages and risk life threatening situations should complications arise St. Bryce Catholic Missions provides a safe place for them to stay and make sure the babies get a good head start.
