Prayer Request

A reader writes:
After over a year of struggling with lung cancer my grandfather passed away. Please, could you pray for my grandfather and my grandmother, who helped him throughout his illness?

Father, may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  And grant healing, grace, consolation, strength, faith, hope and love to his wife and all who love him.  Mother Mary, pray for him.  We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
