Father Louis Obirieze to become Pastor of Sacred Heart in Sapulpa!
November 30 will be a joyous day for Sacred Heart parish in Sapulpa. bishop Slattery has named Fr. Louis Obirieze the new pastor of the Church in Sapulpa effective on the First Sunday of Advent, the same day that Fr. Jovita Okonkwo moves to Holy Family Cathedral.
Fr. Louis has been the Associate Pastor at the Cathedral for the past year. He was helpful in making possible the cathedral’s Centennial Celebration, and is known in the church and the school as a thoughtful person with a cheerful disposition.
