March For Life Review
The 42nd March for Life again lived up to its reputation, drawing hundreds of thousands of mostly young marchers who oppose abortion in Washington DC. The march’s motto, “Every life is a gift” stems from a tweet Pope Francis tweeted from his @Pontifex Twitter Account.
Even with pro-choice protesters who blocked the walk way for the march in DC, Archbishop Joseph Kurtz of Louisville urged the marchers to be compassionate with people who disagree or who have experienced abortion. Be “missionaries of peace,” he said.
About 800 people gathered last night for the Tulsa March for Life. It was a great crowd even with the weather being chilly.
Rebecca Hamilton, veteran Pro-Life Legislator, gave the closing speech at 6th and Main. There was great feedback at the end of the event.
“I think it is very important to be a voice in your local community and to stand up for what you believe. That’s why I come every year,” one attendee said.

Let us all pray this evening, before our heads hit the pillow, for the sanctity of life from natural conception to natural death.
As Pope Saint John Paul II said, “A nation that kills its own children is a nation without hope.”
