JOHN 20:23
WHOSE SINS YOU FORGIVE ARE FORGIVEN THEM, AND WHOSE SINS YOU RETAINED ARE RETAINED
The Council of Trent defined the power Christ gave to his Apostles to forgive sins is exercised in the sacrament of penance. This Lent make an effort to go to confession. Hear the words of absolution from Our Lord. Don’t carry that weight of sin any longer. You don’t have to… Christ already has. Just give it to him and hear the words, “I absolve you from your sins in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
