A chance to do a work of mercy to a young boy

I was wondering if you could help me get the word out for a young boy with a big heart? Attached is a picture of my 6 year-old nephew, Noah. In April, he was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer, and is being treated at the Children’s Mercy Hospital. He has taken it upon himself to start a band-aid drive so that kids like him who are fighting cancer can have a little something to smile about after being poked and prodded by needles and tests. In a nutshell, Noah thinks the band-aids are important because they symbolize the end of a procedure, test, admit or other event that likely caused anxiety and often pain. The band-aid reminds him that everything is OK now. All the hospital has the budget for are boring, plain old brown bandages, and what kid gets excited about those? =-) So Noah is asking for donations of kid-friendly (i.e., superhero, colorful, etc.) band-aids that he can give to Children’s Mercy. The bandages have to be latex-free and in their original, sealed packaging or the hospital cannot accept them.
Donations can be mailed to Noah at:
Band-Aids 4 U
119 N. Parker Street; Suite 110
Olathe, KS 66061-3139
Thanks for helping me make the day for not only my nephew, but for a lot of sick kiddos in the KC area.
You guys consistently amaze me with your generosity!
