Prayer Requests and Praise Report

A reader writes about Baby Hugh, for whom you guys have been praying:Baby Hugh went home with his parents yesterday. He’s nursing, albeit slowly, but the new drug he’s on seems to be suppressing the seizures for which no definite cause can so far be assigned, but many other conditions have been ruled out by the medical team. Things are much more hopeful than two weeks ago and Hugh’s parents and grandparents continue to be grateful for the prayers being offered on their behalf. Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ!Another reader writes:I could use some prayer too (for big involved problem too long to bore innocent man with eye-glazing explanation).Father, hear my reader’s prayer through your Son Jesus Christ.  Mother Mary, pray for her.Another reader writes:A young woman gave her life to Jesus. She is a drug addict. Prayer requests, that she be free and that her life be all right.Father, hear our prayer through your Son Jesus Christ!  Mother Mary, pray for her and those supporting her.Another reader writes:The head of our parish’s RCIA team recently had her cancer return (she has had breast cancer and needed a masectomy). This time it has spread to her esophagus and now she cannot eat solid food. They are hoping that her chemo treatment works out well enough that she becomes a candidate for surgery. Please pray for her recovery.Father, hear our prayer for  her complete healing in body, soul, and spirit.  Grant her caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, counsel, knowledge, understanding, skill, insight, creativity, and the proper technology to assist in her healing.  Grant her and all who love her grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love.  Mother Mary, St. Luke, and St. Peregrine pray for them. We ask this through your Son Jesus Christ.
