Five Favorites (Vol. 9): Mercy Music

Your2Bcross2Bhas2Bspoken

St. Augustine once famously quipped: “He who sings, prays twice.” Music is an integral part of my prayer life and a good song or lyrics can lift my heart and mind to God. As we celebrate the Jubilee Year of Mercy, here are some of my favorite lines about mercy from some of my favorite Christian music. Please feel free to pin and share the images on Social Media. (I would appreciate a link back if you do – thanks! ) From Jeremy Camp’s Beautiful One: From Chris Tomlin’s Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone): From Matt Maher’s Because He Lives (Amen):   From Laura Story’s Blessings:  From Matt Maher’s Your Grace Is Enough:    What are your favorite songs related to God’s mercy?  Click here for more Five Favorites I’m hanging out with Ashley over at the Big White Farmhouse with this post!
